Into the blackest pits beneath the mountains, bent on vengeance and glory, goes the Weaponmaster. I can form the iron core of any legion. I crash into the teeth of enemy forces, armed with cold steel and grim purpose. I am the mercenary loitering in taverns between expeditions, the guard who casts a watchful eye over charges, the weapon master who elevates fighting styles to lethal arts. I am a warrior, let the battle be joined.
I draw my weapon for gold, for glory, for duty, and for the mere joy of unrestrained martial exercise. I’m a calculating mercenary who cares more for fighting hard than fighting smart.
I was once a devoted paladin, but my fall sees me now as a disgraced fighter. But above all, I am a Dwarf, illustrated by my long beard braided into elaborate patterns to show clan and ancestry. I fight to honor long-dead clan founders, ancestral heroes, and ancient ways.
The ancient legendary dwarven citadel, Cor Talcor, is an elite military society. Sixty years was more than sufficient to learn everything I could in the martial skills and I stood peerless because of it. The time had come to go out into the world and carve my place. Unexpectedly, it was the call of the divine that pulled me.
Stern Bahamut, the lawful good deity, matched my disapproval of evil in all forms. Though I did not turn from Moradin, the Dwarffather, my passions grew beyond simple smithing and artisans of the dwarves. However I still pay homage to him on the holy days of the crescent moon. The more I explored of the world the less I allowed excuses for foul deeds, and fell in line with the clerics of Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon. The priests of Bahamut forged me into a Paladin, a title that now fills the mouth with vile taste of bitter memories.
I was also blessed by Bahamut with the +5 Holy Avenger weapon named Galadorn, to better worship Bahamut with good deeds instead of idolatry objects. My Kensei attunement made this sentient Execution Axe and I one, and together we executed the evildoers of Tiamat and Orcus wherever found. I traveled across many seas in pursuit of my code. Chivalry, justice, honor, daring, and valor were the words I lived by for forty years. I was called Whitehart as my deeds became widely known throughout the lands. That is until I met Majandra, my love third only to my weapon and my lord Bahamut.

During his time as a paladin, Willkens met the love of his life, an half-elven bard named Majandra. He spent a lot of time with her and her family of forest elves. There he met Majandra’s half-sister, Kaylia, who was only a small child at the time. He taught her how to defend herself(explaining Kaylias multiclass-Fighter abilities).
First trip to the Tomb of Horrors

- Curse of Moil: You carry the taint of Moil’s dread power. This effect does not fade. A powerful Shadowfell curse connected to the lost city. Despair and a sense of oppression constantly assails your heart.
